Good Positional Understanding, Bad Tactics, and give up too easy...

TexasHoldem and everyone out there that shares the sames notion about how people should evolve and what is their true level at a certain activity should check this

Plus a guy in chess network's stream proposed that everyone that had this kind of thinking process should watch this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xToFJHrxNbg

I too shared this kind of thinking, for a period not so far ago, and i was kinda hurt by thorin, he really spoke somewhere that 'hurt' me and made me realise that i might be overestimating my power and if i can't lose i wont win. Stay with the basics, don't drop pieces, develop and play openly!
It isn't that... It just takes too long according to what I read online...

If I am spending 3 hours a day or more I see people saying you can gain like 20 elo or less per month... If anyone can prove this wrong maybe I would change my mind... How much elo is possible to gain per month in your guy's opinions
Why are you even worried about that? What's your goal? Is your mentality that you shouldn't bother playing unless you can become a master quickly?
