players who dont play ultra, why?

i know there's tons of players who are just too slow for it, and, no diss but, they try to justify not being great at ultra claiming it's not chess in any sense and has nothing, even little, to do with chess whatsoever. also there's decent amount of players who actually believe ultra isn't chess, is just moving back and forth, has to do only with speed as if faster side always wins, and some of them even think it's cheating (flagging).

but players who dont think like that or aren't just too slow for it, and are sure you can be decent if you ever start playing: why don't you play ultra?
Players who don't play ultrabullet prefer to play chess games that are less dependent on time scrambles and cheap tricks.
Ultrabullet can be fun but it has little to do with calculation abilities and is instead all about split-second decisions and speed.
1 single practical purpose for playing the dumbest time control on earth.

It is mouse speed skills. Useful in bullet occasionally. Outside of that no point but make legal moves as fast as possible.
It is funny. Back in the day, chess masters complained that game in 60 min (60+0) was not "real chess". They said it was too fast and that it created games full of mistakes. The USCF back then created three rating classes for the different time controls.

Today we have a variety of time controls. These are all chess variants. "Real chess"?? I understand what people want to mean by that phrase, but there is no consensus on a definition for that. Even FIDE OTB chess can have variants per venue. I'm sure someone complains in those venues that the rules in force are not "real chess".
@chessanalyst but ultra helps u see patterns fast and get faster at calculation or finding winning line. sure i'm not saying that calculation is as accurate as in classical, and i know it's more like tactical calculation than deep positional, but it still can be relevant to any other time control, maybe not classical. if you have like 10 secs in blitz or rapid, and you are half a second away from running outta time if there's increment of any kind. so in time scramble like that, why is ultra not relevant, if you have 10 secs left both in ultra and blitz you are gonna play almost as fast anyway. so not only may u be ought to play blitz as fast as ultra, ultra calculate-fast and see not-so-great-n-perfect moves thing can be so needful in blitz/rapid time scrambles.
@campacavalloscacchi why would u post something that isn't even relevant and says nothing but still indirectly enforces that laughable view i wrote above - "that ultra is cheating". you didnt say directly that ultra is cheating in and of itself but you are backing an opinion that even if ultra isn't necessarily engine-cheating it's still cheating (throwing pieces to check king).
calm, calm. I meant playing ultrabullet only is just fun, in real chess you can't play in 15 seconds.
Bullet requires practicing some skills which are not interesting for me. I prefer slow games like 15+10 or longer. I am playing here 10 minute games though, to break my usual rhythm.
#1 "..some of them even think it's cheating (flagging)."

I don't get why some people think that flagging is cheating. It is part of the rules of any time control that you can get flagged.

Historically, when clocks were first introduced, the penalty for overstepping the time control was a fine. You did not lose the game. Later this was changed to just losing the game.

Story:
According to the tournament book, in the 1895 Hastings tournament the time control was a generous 4 min per move average. 30 moves in 2hrs and time control after each player had played 30 moves. Then another time control period with again 4 min/move average. In the first round, Tarrasch overstepped the time control and lost. He was playing Mason. Mason pointed out several times to Tarrasch that he had only played 29 moves. Tarrasch had written his name on the score for his first move! Hence, he was off by one. Mason had to claim the win on time, because there was a rule in this tournament that all infractions of the rules had to be taken. The penalty for not claiming an infraction was being ejected from the tournament!
