It appears that the top 10,000 players or so have their rank on the site displayed in their profile. Could this be expanded so the rest of us could see it?
I'm aware it's pretty meaningless for beginners like myself but it would be fun to see just how far behind the pack I am.

I still think it would be cool to see my rank. Are there are technical reasons why it's not displayed? Or is it a privilege/reward for the stronger players.
Well, the list contains about 200k+ items, and it's refreshed quite regularly, so yes, there are technical reasons why it is not done for all players.

I think, if I remember correctly, ranks of people tated 1500+ are displayed...

ramamara with a current rating of 1501 has a rank of 11,129/225k
bob7 with a current rating of 1499 does not have any rank displayed.
Spare a thought for those of us with ranks below 1,000.
