Pirc Defense

Hello all, I recently decided to play the Pirc Defense against White's 1.e4 (I didn't used it in online games yet). What are the good Courses or books I can buy or use for free that will help me improve my opening?

I have been playing the KID against 1.d4 for the past 1 or 2 years in OTB tournament games and I have achieved a lot of success with the same. I thought if I start playing Pirc it will be easier for me to grasp the ideas and plans as KID is the same structure. Or are they both completely different?
The Pirc makes a good secondary weapon against 1.e4, it's better than it's reputation. As part of a repertoire, it fits well with the KID, modern Benoni and Benko gambit. But be warned, each of these openings is something different, and a "one size fits all" approach isn't going to work. Specifically, not many e4 players are going to look for a way to play an early c2-c4, so after 1.e4 d6 2.d4 Nf6 you are going to see 3.Nc3 almost exclusively. (Sometimes someone will throw in f3 and hope that you allow them to transpose to a Samisch KID, but that doesn't happen very often) Whether they follow that up with f4 (the Austrian attack) or something else is a coin toss, but rest assured you will see mostly 3.Nc3. Which means that you can't transpose into KID territory, and you won't be able to play by analogy. The battle will be over different central squares and both players will be looking for different pawn breaks to open the position for the right pieces at the right time.
But if you have played over a lot of games by Bronstein, Geller, Gligorich, and you love seeing that fianchettoed B on g7 breathe fire down the long diagonal, go for it.
I play the KID successfully but I cannot make the Pirc/Modern/Tiger work. Those similarities are overrated - chess is much more concrete.

Yeah, I believe there’s much more traps in Pirc than that KID, and more difficult to get its ideas
