Yeah, Nepo can't beat Carlsen but only in your dreams! Wake up dear and accept reality!
And yeah, Nakamura is the most sad person right now! Feeling sad for him but Calrsen has made a joke of system.
What's he supposed to be "afraid" of anyway? Afraid that he might nod off during the next match?

It's pretty simple: Carlsen is afraid to lose against Nepo and hence he backed out. I agree he's strongest (of this era only) hence he's afraid cause every strong player fears to lose their title.

Ding said that after he won. He struggled early, blamed it on jet lag, then when he beat Nakamura he said "chess is fair". It's just part of the Chinese culture to always "save face". Its like the Chinese mma fighter who lost to the polish girl, then stomped her foot around the octagon, yelled at the ref, yelled at her trainer. Its terrible sportsmanship. I dont like that style. If a sportsman loses, then they should congratulate their opponent not blame their loss on an external actor. I didnt like Fischer for the same reason. I hope Nepo wins, and I hope Ding doesnt make excuses when he does.

First of all, the Jet lag does cause a huge difference, try playing a 5 hour classical game at candidates level at basically 1 in the morning, secondly he said chess is fair after being defeated by rajabov, rewatch the interview!!!!!!

This person thinks he knows so much about chinese culture and what the reaction of the chinese government would be, when he cant even get his facts right. The chinese government would claim they rule the world? WTH u have no idea how little china cares about chess and how many problems they have to deal with, none of them incuding chess!!!!!!!

First logical fallacy, hasty generalisation, weak analogy, post hoc ergo propter hoc, incorrect statement ad hominem, appeal to authority.
I saw the video, and I didn't hear him mention anything about jet lag. I went to the chess.com live videos and the earliest interview with him was round 6, which was a draw with Nakamura and it is titled with "excellent play" in it. If he said anything about jet lag, I presume it was round 1? And is this a bad thing to mention if he did?
