Viktor Korchnoi, a great chess player,loved and hated by many, has died today.
R.I.P.

Yes RIP to one of the best never to become WC. It is a great loss for the chess world.

Yesterday just played through a game of his against Karpov from the 1974 FIDE Candidates Final (game 2).

Oh, he was a fantastic GM, I didn't know he has died today. I hope we all remember him for a long time :(

I hope his soul rests in peace. I have seen some of his games, they are awesome.
