If you disable the "Chat room" in a game, when you click on the "Preferences" tab you don't see anything. When you enable "Chat room", Preferences appear again.
On a related note, my preference would be that the preferences list not appear in the chat room window, but they seem to have become the default display. ... I don't use chat much but now have to click the tab in case my opponent might want to tell me something. ... defaulting to preferences just adds another keystroke before getting started, and frankly, does anyone fool with their preferences once they've made those choices?
i agree with #2, it's slightly annoying.
