I think that 100 plus points bonus thing was last years secret santa and we didnt find out about it til our ratings got bigger.
This years gift is gonna be something more interesting since the way its been unveiled. My guess is that lichess is gonna give special guest lectures on twitch. Everyone loves a free gift :)

@#18: I feel like lichess did have this for a little while where you could watch other super tournaments on the site, but it didn't seem to take off. Either way, I'd love to watch them live on here instead of other inferior sites. In any event, I love this site. Keep up the great work everybody!

I'm excited about the gift, but on the other hand - lichess is already fantastic.
Nothing's wrong with it, but new interfaces are always too exciting for me :P

guys if you look carefully at the updates most of them are labeled under announcements but the special gift thing is labeled as teasing which is probably just like the April fools thing :P
