I like the whole idea of a crazyhouse world championship. Should be a fun event. I am a little apprehensive of super long tournament over several days because of people like me with the dog, 3 kids, hubby do list from my wife. I think I can sell one long day but several might be tough. For that reason, I would lean away from the really long 15+10 games though I concede that they would produce some fine crazyhouse. I understand that most of the top 10 players play 30 second but my old wrist/fingers have a heck of a time moving at those speeds. You might consider 1 0 and 3 0 because those seem to be the most popular tournaments on lichess. I also like Janlee opinion of multiple time controls. Perhaps when it is the final two playoff or the first to get a 5 game lead on their opponent in a series of 1 0 games?
The final definitely won't be 1 0 LOL, but yeah, I agree with everything you've said. I still would like to see 15 + 10 games...up to you guys. I guess Chucklemagne and I are alone on this.
Yes, 1/0 is the perfect option for all players, it creates potential for more games and will work well for people with busy schedules like me.
i have a lot of hw as well... and 15 + 10 will definitely not work for me... 3 0 is still preferred
