Chess is a difficult game which many play just to relax and have fun with their friends but some chess players who keep on trying to get better and better at chess and get out of the 1500-2000 rating range. It is a really difficult task but you can start working towards it by not losing winning positions .

Steps to follow: 1.After you are a piece up, take your time for each move because your opponent will try to trick you with tactics throughout the game. 2.Do not assume that you have won the game because the game is not over until its over. This is a problem faced by many players like me. I have lost against many FIDE rated players in games where I was a rook up or a knight up.
